Hi, I’m Dora AY — I’m adorable and so are you.
For the longest time, I didn’t really want to think of myself as a creator. Maybe the word sounded too fancy, or perhaps it felt like too serious a title for something I had always enjoyed doing naturally — writing, taking pictures, sharing thoughts, learning new things, making videos, and documenting little pieces of my life.
But over the years, I realised something: blogging is creating.
And I have always been creating in one way or another.
I’m not exactly a content writer, although I’m quite comfortable with words and SEO writing. I’m not necessarily a vlogger either, although I enjoy making videos. I simply have a creative mind that has always found different ways to express itself.
Dora AY is where those different sides of me meet.
This is my personal blog and digital space for the things I genuinely care about — learning, personal growth, lifestyle, digital skills, entrepreneurship, books, blogging and creating a meaningful life.
It is also a place where I get to share what I’m learning as I grow. Some days, that might mean talking about a book I’m reading, a digital tool I’m learning to use, or something I’ve discovered about blogging and building online. Other days, it might be a conversation about adulthood, personal development, beauty, business, productivity or simply figuring life out as I go.
I’m enthusiastic about making educational and lifestyle videos — from coming up with an idea, to recording, editing and eventually putting it out into the world. I enjoy photography too, (not professional, but I’m photogenic to an extent & don’t mind being the muse or behind the lens). Creating allows me to bring together the things I love: ideas, words, visuals, learning and expression.
Entrepreneurship has become another important part of that journey. I run a body care products reselling business, and I’m learning what it means to build something of my own while also building myself. I’m still figuring things out, and I don’t believe I need to have everything perfectly together before I share the journey.
That is what Dora AY is really about.
